More Pictures from Labor Day . . .

I am a bit late . . . but here are more pictures from our last fun camping trip for the year . . .Brittney and Briana stayed in our trailer Sunday night since their tent got soaked from the rain, Diesel just loves the girls . . .
Hunter enjoying a glass of chocoalte milk with breakfast . . .After her visit to Garden City, Briana brought back her raspberry shake and TJ was more than willing to share . . .LOL
Here is Troy, Hunter and Jake enjoying a movie in the trailer since it was too wet and cold to be outside, also TJ laying on our large area rug to watch the movie. LOL!
Troy sold his old red ford and bought a 4 wheeler. It's a clutch machine and I had never driven one before. Troy is such a good teacher, glad he has lots of patience with me. LOL! It wasn't too hard, reverse still is a struggle for me, but I got the hang of shifting going forward.
We camped right by a stream, Hunter loved to go down and get his feet wet. Briana is such a good girl, she loves taking care of my boys, we just love her!
Diesel kept running after the cows so he had to be tied up . . .
The girls kept trying to get TJ to say "cheese" can you see the irriation on his face . . .

TJ enjoys the quad with Hunter. It was fun to watch them ride thru camp. That was the best gift Santa brought for Hunter last year . . .
It started to rain Sunday afternoon and by Monday morning, when it was time to pick up camp, it was snowing . . . what a muddy mess we had when we got home.

Jakey is 10 today . . .

Troy and I got Jake the Fall 1998. He is such a wonderful dog. I can't believe he is 70 years old today. He still has lots of spunk though and is a very special part of our family! Then of course we can't post about one dog without the other two. Here is Charli. She is starting to show her age, she is 11 years old (we think). We didn't know how old she was when we got her, but have had her since the summer of 1998. She still wags her tail and loves to be petted. She can't see so it took her a bit to get used to our new house, but after a few months she is a pro!

Then of course our newest addition . . . Diesel. He turned one back in March on St. Patrick's day. We have all adjusted pretty well. I still struggle with the slobber and drooling. He has adapted to our family very well.

I ventured out for the first time yesterday and had to hit Old Navy. I love the $5 Halloween shirts. I don't usually get matching, but most of them were girly so the boys got the same shirt this year. LOL.

Home Recovering . . .

I had a hysterectomy last Tuesday. A much needed surgery! Hopefully in 6 weeks I will be a new woman. I was only in the hospital over night which was nice, but I have to thank Lisa for making sure I was taken care of. She doesn't work for the hospital anymore since she is a stay at home mom for Gracie, but she still made sure I had the best nurse, the best gas man, and everyone knew who I was and I was treated like gold! Thank you so much Lisa, you are appreciated more than you know!

Thanks to Dr. Kirkman for taking care of me and performing the surgery. He told Troy that my pain was justified, I guess I was just a mess inside. Hopefully when the recovery pain is all gone I can get back to a normal life. I did get to keep my ovaries so at least I don't have to go on hormone therapy! With any luck I can start to work on my weight again since I am larger than life! Working on my weight wasn't a priority when I couldn't control the pain . . . I just ate to deal with things and WOW have I paid for it this last year! With any luck I can find the strength to force myself to go to Weight Watchers and will look a tad bit better by next summer! LOL

Both my parents and Lisa sent flowers to brighten my day . . . Thank you and I love you!!!

I am working part-time from home, but with any luck by the end of the month I will be back to work full time. It's amazing how working just 4 to 5 hours wipes me out. With any luck my body will heal a lot in the next week and I will be almost 100% by the 30th. Wishful thinking I know, but it's a nice thought!

I have to say thank to my husband too! He has been a trooper through all of this. I can't lift more than 10 lbs for the next 6 weeks and having 3 dogs the vacuuming has to be done daily. I am truly blessed to have such a great hubby! Thanks to my great friend Angie too who comes to vacuum for me!

Labor Day Weekend . . .

We went camping for the weekend. Angie, Trek and the girls joined us. We also camped with Grandpa Lane, Grandma Leann, Craig and Sandy.

We got all kinds of weather from sunshine, rain to snow. Of course I didn't pull out my camera all weekend. I know Angie got some great pictures so I will have to steal her camera to upload the pictures. It was sad to finish out the camping season with crappy weather, but we all still made the best of it and had a great time!

The boys had so much fun that they were out most of the way home. These cute pictures I took with my cell phone . . .

2008 Box Elder County Fair . . .

Every year Lisa gets Troy to ride the zipper with her. Of course she screams the whole time because Troy doesn't keep the cart steady and likes to make it roll. LOL. Luke and I just enjoy watching, neither of us like the rides . . .
There are more than a few pictures showing how much fun the boys had at the fair . . .TJ was so funny. He wanted no part of driving the truck, he was content sitting in the back just hanging out. LOL Hunter has talked non stop of riding a ferris wheel. I wish the picture would have turned out better, Hunter's smile was from ear to ear as he waved . . .
TJ finally wanted to drive the truck since he was by himself and didn't have brother's helpThe boys go to the new daycare at Troy's work and here is one of the things that Hunter made, it's a butterfly bird house and he won 2nd place for his age group . . .Can't visit the fair without seeing the John Deere's . . .
Riding the rides with friends . . .Hunter, TJ, Shelbi and Matthew . . .
Of course we had hit the train ride . . . TJ kept saying "Choo Choo" on the ride. It was cute!

TJ screamed the whole time on the dragon roller coaster, of course Hunter loved it! LOL!
All in all it was a fun few days! Hunter is already asking when the fair will be here again. It's going to be a long wait until next fall. LOL

Derby cars . . .

We have befriended a guy named Trek. He drives derby cars. Troy has been in his pit crew this summer and the boys love to go watch Trek "crash". I finally got a picture of the boys in Trek's car . . .
