First Day of School . . .

Hunter started pre-school today. After looking at Jenny and Sherry's blogs I loved the idea of starting a tradition of taking a picture on the first day of school . . .
It's all about Transformers, Spider Man and the Hulk at our house, so of course we got them all on the first day of school! LOL!

Update . . .

I know I am a slacker and haven't posted for a while, so when you have a minute take a look at the last few posts I just made, that catches us up on the last few weeks. LOL! I want to take a minute and personally wish my two dear friends Happy Birthday this month . . .

First my friend Shelly, she and I have become friends over the few years. She is a great person! With our kids busy schedules we haven't seen much of each other this past month, but I want her to know that she is thought of often and is appreciated very much! I love ya Shel!

Second to my dear friend Lisa, her birthday was just last week! Lisa and I have been friends for almost 8 years now. She is a true friend and very special to our family. The boys call her "Aunt Lisa" and the dogs go nuts when she comes to visit, they love her very much! She is a special person and is very much loved by our family!

Thanks to both Lisa and Shelly for being a party of our lives. I don't tell you enough, but you are appreciated and your friendship means alot!

We are heading to Bear Lake for the weekend so I better get off and get stuff ready. When we return I will post more fun pictures of the boys. It was the fair this week . . . more to come! Love to all!

Troy's work party and my new ride . . .

We decided to go to Troy's work party last Saturday, it sure was fun to let go and let them enjoy the rides . . .
The green and yellow attraction you see above in the back ground is what Hunter is running through on the next few pictures. He had a blast!

TJ wasn't quite sure at first, but once the swings got going it got used to the idea . . .
TJ liked the play ground better, he loves to take the tunnel to the slide . . .
Hunter saw the face painting and decided he wanted a blue spider . . .

After the work party we headed to Logan to pick up my ride. My car died a few weeks ago and I have been borrowing one of my parents. Troy is still going to try and fix my car (we think I got bad gas). My car doesn't owe us anything, it was my dad's for years and he gave it to Troy and I a few years ago, it's a 1993 chevy lumina and has over 200k miles on it, but it has been a great car to get me back and forth to work. Troy and I have talked for awhile about getting a family car so we can park the big diesel truck since diesel prices are outrageous. We wanted the 3 rows so all 3 boys have plenty of room. So after much negotiation, this is the cute new SUV we brought home. It's a 2005 Ford Explorer. I am very proud of ourselves because we got it for $6000 less than the asking price and it was below low book. Pays to be persistant! LOL!

Another birthday party . . .

Angie and I have been friends since we were kids. Her daughter Ambree has the same birthday as my nephew so usually we don't make it to Ambree's birthday party. This year worked out though since Ambree's party was a different weekend. We meet at a park and the kids had a great time . . .
Here is cute little Ambree who just turned 4. She is a mini me of Angie I think. Proud Grandma Carolyn in the background . . .
Here is Hunter enjoying one of Ambree's birthday presents, I can't believe how far technology has come!

And here is a cute picture of Brenna after enjoying a piece of cake. She looks just like her sister Ambree . . .

Thanks Angie for a fun Saturday afternoon! You have a beautiful family and I look forward to the next party in October!

Birthday Party . . .

These pictures are going to be in reverse order, but since it's been so long since I posted I didn't think it would be that big of a deal! LOL! On our way home, after taking Travis to the airport, we stopped for a cousins birthday party. Here are the boys enjoying the new present . . .

Of course what is a party without a pinata . . .

They also got to enjoy cookies with black frosting, as Hunter was so kind to share with us. LOL!
Since it was a hot sunny day, the kids enjoyed the tramp with a little water to cool off . . .
I wish I would have gotten a little bit better picture, TJ feel off the tramp the first 5 minutes we were there and got a fat lip, poor little guy . . .
Of course you can't have a party without cake . . .
The party was a Transformer theme and TJ never took the birthday hat off . . .
Even the Grandpa's were troopers . . .

Our last week with Travis . . .

Last Saturday Troy came home from Chicago and we headed to the Tremonton derby. I don't have any pictures though we all had a great time. Troy was helping a friend who was running in the derby so my hands were too busy with the three boys to worry about taking pictures. After the derby we stayed for the fireworks. TJ was funny he kept saying BOOM BOOM!

On Monday we headed to the Brigham City pool for a few hours in the evening. We finally found something that Travis and Hunter can do together and not fight. They both rode the slide several times that night. Once again no pictures because I left the camera at home.

On Thursday we decided to head to Fat Cats in Ogden to enjoy a family night with the boys and my parents. What a fun time we had. If you ever get a chance to go, I highly recommend it! We eat pizza for dinner and then decided to hit the arcade . . .

Hunter is too short to reach the peddles so Dad helps Hunter so he can stear the game . . .
TJ didn't care if he had help, he just thought it was cool to be doing the same thing brother was!
Hunter told me at lunch today that we need to get a motorcyle game for the house because he had so much fun on it last nigh! RIGHT I will jump right on that! LOL!

TJ loves Nemo! Glad we found a ride he could enjoy!

After the arcade we decide to ride the bumper cars! OMG it was hillarious watching Hunter, he was barely tall enough to ride the ride, but he doesn't weigh anything so he was flying out of his seat each time he got hit. Travis loved the ride because the gears are the same as the lawnmower back home so he felt like a pro!

TJ was too little to ride the bumper cars so he hung out with Grandma & Grandpa

Then after all of that . . . we still had time for minature golf. TJ and Hunter wanted no part of playing, but Travis had a good time with his dad and grandparents. It was glow in the dark golf so none of the pictures turned out but our family one at the end. We wanted to hit Farr's Ice Cream for dessert, but people were lined out the door so Troy and I picked up some popcicles and finished the night at Grandma & Grandpa's. I didn't realize until it was time to go that we didn't get an updated picture with the boys or I wouldn't have put the younger boys in their PJ's. Oh well. Hunter was too occupied by the toy handcuffs to even look at the camera, silly boy!!!
Travis goes home early tommorrow morning and we are going to miss him terribly. He is a wonderful kid! We are already looking forward to next summer and all the fun activities we can go as a family!
