Family pics, cousin visit & July 24th fireworks . . .

Last Sunday we went to Troy's dad's house for family pictures. Grandma Leann was photographer for the day . . .

Travis and Grandma Leann
I am afraid next year this picture will be reversed and he will be taller than I am!
Troy had to go to Chicago this past week for work so the boys and I kept busy. Tuesday night we went to Lisa's for Gracie's first birthday. What a special little girl she is. When you have the time you will have to click on the on Lisa's blog in our home page (Lisa, Luke & Gracie) to read about Gracie's arrival! Lisa is a very special friend and we are glad that she and her family are a part of our lives! We love you!
On Wednesday we went to Aunt Nic's so the cousins could play . . .

Last night for the 24th our good friends Bryan and Kristi invited the boys and I over for dinner and fireworks. Oh my gosh I laughed so hard. You all know how over protective I am of my boys. Well Bryan let the kids be by his side while he lit the fireworks, I was leary of course, but oh my gosh the laughs and smiles from my boys were so worth the anxiety . . .

Hunter sat guard over the fireworks, no one but Bryan could get the fireworks (of course only after Hunter had picked which one he wanted next) LOL!

Here is Travis stomping on the snaps for entertainment . . .

Thanks again Bryan and Kristi! All in all it has been a fun week, but I am really excited that Troy will be home tomorrow! The boys are ready for their dad to be home as well. I am not used to being a single mom, even if just for a week! LOL! Have a great weekend!

Travis arrived, Bear Lake & a birthday party . . .

Hello! I hope this finds everyone well. We are finally moved, still organizing and making our house "home". So once it's all said and done I will post pictures. Here is an update on our last few weeks . . .

Before Travis arrived for his summer visit, the boys kept themselves entertained at the airport. The boys and I got to go back with Troy to get Travis and here is TJ making noises as the planes took off . . . Hunter at baggage claim . . . Aww the three brother's together again at last (by TJ's reaction you can tell he is done with the airport!) . . .
After being home for just a few short days . . . we headed to Bear Lake for our annual trip. Thanks Robin and Carolyn for a fun weekend!
Camp for the weekend . . .
This is my favorite one of TJ riding around camp . . .
Here is Travis ready for a water fight & Hunter getting the short end of the stick . . . Our boys in the water and sand . . .
Hunter thought it was cool to have Sandman hands!
TJ had so much fun the first day that he had to take a little nap on my lap . . .I was just sitting in a chair while TJ slept and of course since I have such perfect skin (HAHA). I got the nice Bear Lake burn. And YES I did have sun screen on! Here it is a week and half later and I am still red and peeling like crazy! I am glad that the blisters are finally gone!
On Saturday TJ had so much fun at the beach that he couldn't make it thru dinner . . .TJ just chillin . . .
Travis and Hunter went with their dad on Robin's boat for a ride on the tube . . .Hunter got so relaxed turning the ride the he got brave and just rested his chin on his hands; of course Robin saw that and had to goose the boat just a bit! Hunter quickly grabbed for the handles! He still talks about his ride on the tube! LOL!

Then of course we can't visit Bear Lake without visiting Grandma . . .

This past Sunday we had everyone over to celebrate Trav's birthday. He made out like a bandit and got $127 from family and friends . . .
Hunter making sure dad lights the candles right . . .
TJ just hanging out on his bike . . .
Here's Travis, ready set . . .

SPLASH!!!

Grandma Sue and Travis just hanging out before the party started . . .Travis truly is a great kid and we are blessed to have him here for part of the summer. He wanted us to take him shopping for his birthday. After his birthday party he headed to Grandpa Lane's and Grandma Leann's for an overnight visit. On Monday we met half way and decided to do our birthday shopping at Wal-mart. Troy wanted Travis to have $100 from us to spend so we got him a $100 bill and the look on his face was priceless. I wish I would have had the camera. He was so excited. Of course it was spent in less than hour, but that's okay he got what he wanted, a few movie series and a Mario game for his Wii back home. Now he can take the rest of his birthday money (all $127 worth) and spend it on something fun back home.

I hope this message finds everyone well. Take care and know that you are all loved very much!!!
